Introduction

Under each product, you may create different ticket types with different variation like “Adult, Child, Senior, Per Pax etc” with different pricing. To create a new ticket type:

Step 1: Click ‘Products’.

Step 2: Then click ‘Manage Product’.

Step 3: Click ‘Ticket’.

Step 4: Click ‘New Ticket Type’.

Basic Setting

To be able to create a ticket type, fill in all the required fields under the Basic Setting tab of the Ticket type.

Ticket Creation Basic Information

Ticket Name
Select “Standard” to display your ticket name as the default “Ticket”.

To customize your ticket name, select “Custom” and key in your desired ticket name.

Ticket Category
Main ticket: Tickets that can be used on it’s own. (eg. Standard Admission tickets)
Add-on: Tickets that require a main ticket to use. (eg. Meal voucher, add-on tour that requires a Standard Admission ticket)

Ticket Type Variation

Select the applicable ticket variation and enter the original price and age range. If you want to create your own ticket type variation, just tick the box with the blank field, then enter the custom text.

Help partners purchasing your tickets through GlobalTix system to understand your tickets better by keying in important information under the Description and Terms and Conditions field. Text entered in these fields will also be shown on the e-ticket.

Ticket Validity

There are 3 ways to set the ticket validity – Set Validity by Duration, Set Validity by Fixed Date and Set Validity by Visit Date.

Ticket Validity

Explanation Example
Set Validity by Duration The number of days the ticket is valid from the date of issue. Ticket is only valid for 200 days from the date of issue.
Set Validity by Fixed Date The period which the ticket is valid. Ticket is only valid from 1 July 2019 to 31 Dec 2019.
Set Validity by Visit Date The ticket is only valid on the date of visit. Requires customer to indicate the date of visit and the ticket issued will only be valid on the date of visit.


Set Validity by Duration
Select “Set Validity by Duration” and enter the number of days you want your ticket to be valid for from the date of issue. Eg. 200

Set Validity by Fixed Date
Select “Set Validity by Fixed Date”. Input the start date and end date period of your ticket validity.
Eg. “07 Nov 2019” for start date and “31 Dec 2019” for end date.

Set Validity by Visit Date
Select this option if you require your customer to indicate the date of visit and the ticket issued will only be valid on the date of visit.

If you require your customer to book 3 days in advance, you may tick “Advance Cut-off Booking” and enter 3.

Change Selling Period

If you would like to customize the selling period of your tickets, you may do so by ticking the “Change Selling Period” box. Select the start date and end date for the period that you would like your tickets to be available for sale.
*If this option is not selected, by default all published tickets will be available for sales immediately without an end date.
